Tasmania is starting to have COVID-19 restrictions eased back with Stage 2 beginning on Friday 5 June, from 3pm.
This means more people can gather at public places, our pubs can re-open, you can travel throughout the state, go camping and stay at your shacks.
There are still some restrictions in place like caps on how many people can be in the same place at the same time and you're still expected to wash your hands and social distance.
For more information about what the easing back of restrictions means feel free to contact my office by phone (03 6263 3721 / 03 6398 1115), email () or by visiting the Tasmanian Coronavirus website:
Just remember, things might look like they're going back to normal but we still need to be dilligent about the risk of COVID-19. Keep washing your hands, practice 1.5m social distancing and be sensible.
